Yes, a corrupted boot configuration can cause the issue of reboot and select proper boot device.

- Enter WinRE: Restart, press F8 or similar, and go to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Command Prompt.

- Run Bootrec Commands:

- `bootrec /fixmbr` – Repairs the Master Boot Record.

- `bootrec /fixboot` – Writes a new boot sector.

- `bootrec /scanos` – Detects Windows installations.

- `bootrec /rebuildbcd` – Rebuilds the Boot Configuration Data.

- Restart: Close Command Prompt and restart to check if it’s fixed.
